Focus Project Management, together with GeoAfrika Technologies have been appointed to support KZN CoGTA with the implementation of the Spatial Integration Framework (SIF) and the revision of the current GIS based Spatial Equity Tool (SEPT). This includes the analysis, testing and the updating of the existing tool to align with the new approach of Spatial Integration.
GeoAfrika Surveys has been appointed to undertake quarterly surveys of product stockpiles for AlcoNCP, one of the leading alcohol and livestock feed producers in South Africa. The surveys are undertaken in an indoor warehouse utilizing terrestrial laser scanning for rapid and accurate capture of the Distillers Dried Grains with Solubles (DDGS) stockpiles.
GeoAfrika Technologies has provided Tongaat Hulett Developments with continuous service since 2002. This support includes; provision of a full-time onsite GIS Technician, the provision of GIS resources as back-up to the onsite Technician and for supplementary work, the provision of a GIS Specialist to oversee the technical aspects of the support and the provision of a GIS Manager to manage deliverables and client expectations.
GeoAfrika Surveys was appointed by the eThekwini Municipality Survey Department to conduct a detailed topographical survey of Dr Pixley Kaseme Street, between Shepstone Road and OR Tambo Parade, including the promenade. The survey was conducted to assist in planning the city's future transportation network.
In 2018 SAPPI embarked on the re-design of the rail system and installation of an automated woodchip system in the woodyard of the Saiccor Mill. SiVEST South Africa was appointed to provide design, engineering and management advisory support services for the civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, controls, instrumentation and drafting works for the project. SiVEST contracted GeoAfrika Surveys to undertake a high definition laser scan and topographical survey of the existing woodyard and surrounding structures at the mill.
Transnet (the South African Rail, Port and Pipeline company) required a detailed topographical survey to inform the design process for the upgrading of the Hoedspruit and Natalspruit Marshalling Yards. GeoAfrika Surveys undertook above ground topographical surveys and below ground service detection in order to provide the highest quality mapping product for the design engineering consultants.

The national and provincial importance of the Hammarsdale Interchange stems from its location on the N3 between eThekwini and Msunduzi Municipalities, its proximity to the rail line linking Gauteng to Durban Harbour, and the proposed inland container terminal at Cato Ridge. To fast-track its completion, SANRAL partnered with eThekwini Municipality to co-fund the project.
The Cato Ridge Development Project is aimed at improving the Durban Ports' efficiency and create additional capacity through decongestion of the Port Precinct and Durban CBD to keep up with economic growth.
